Learn to provide care to children, plan learning activities, organise their play, and support them to achieve their developmental milestones. Our program is delivered in a flexible and supportive environment with classes scheduled two days per week over 42 weeks or enquire about a traineeship.
Students must also complete a minimum of 160 hours work placement in a registered Early Learning Centre to complete the qualification.

The Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care opens your pathway into leadership roles in the sector. Now that you have achieved your Certificate III and have some professional experience, you are ready to take the next step in your career.
The Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care teaches you how to plan, implement and manage programs in early childhood services, in accordance with licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements.
Diploma qualified staff have responsibility for supervision of other staff and volunteers. In Victoria, the Diploma is usually the qualification required to work as a Director or Service Manager of a centre-based care service. If you are seeking work in a long day care centre or preschool, wish to upgrade your qualification or pursue a leadership role in family day care, this program is highly recommended for you.
