Wyndham CEC offers pre- accredited programs (short courses) to eligible* students. Pre-accredited training provides opportunities for adult learners in Victoria to gain the knowledge and core skills they need for study, work and life. Core skills include literacy, numeracy, employability skills and digital literacy skills.

The goal of pre- accredited programs is to help create a pathway for learners to move onto further education and employment.

Short courses usually run for one school term (10 weeks) . Most short courses run between 2 – 6 hours per week.

Short courses at Wyndham CEC include: Various English conversation classes, computers , sewing, preparing for citizenship, and skills for work and study .

There is a NON-REFUNDABLE enrolment fee of $30 for each course. Courses are delivered at various locations across Wyndham.

*To be eligible for funded courses participants need to be over 18 years of age and either an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. People who are interested in any of our short courses but are not an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident can still enrol but cannot enrol online. You will need to enrol at reception and pay a different fee amount. Call the main office on 9742 4013 for more information about these fees.
Note: All participants being funded by a third party need to enrol at reception.

All courses are delivered at various centres across Wyndham. To be eligible for government funded courses participants need to be either an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. If you are not sure of your eligibility status please contact the main office on 9742 4013.

People who are interested in any of our short courses, but are not an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident can still enrol but will need to pay a different fee amount.
