Wyndham CEC offers Short Courses in our community, with reduced rates for eligible* students.
The aim of our Short Courses is to help create pathways into further education, training and employment.
Short courses usually run for one school term (10 weeks) . Most short courses run between
2 – 6 hours per week.
Most Short Courses run for one school term (9–10 weeks) and are delivered for 2–6 hours per week. Courses include computers, sewing, hospitality, business skills, citizenship preparation and a variety of English language classes. Programs are offered at a range of locations across Wyndham.
There is a NON-REFUNDABLE and non-transferable enrolment fee of $50 for each course.
Eligibility and Enrolment
To be eligible for funded (reduced-fee) courses, participants must:
- be 18 years of age or older, and
- be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or a Permanent Resident, or
- hold an eligible temporary visa (including Humanitarian, Refugee or certain Bridging Visas).
If you are not eligible for funding, you may still enrol but must do so in person at Wyndham CEC’s head office (20 Synnot St, Werribee) and will be charged full-fee rates.

Note:
- Participants whose fees are paid by a third party must enrol at reception.
- Students cannot repeat a class they have already completed within the same calendar year. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, please contact us before enrolling.
